You have a question or problem. Spokes will help. Talk with an experienced nonprofit leader. If we can’t offer what you need, we’ll help you find someone who can. Brief consultations are complimentary with membership. Additional consultation charged at an hourly rate. More information can be found here.

Classes and Workshops
Spokes classes and workshops provide opportunities for participants to advance their professional and leadership skills. Taught by industry experts, workshop topics include board development and governance, grant-writing, fundraising, volunteer management, financial management, IRS compliance, and more. Classes and workshops are available to everyone, but Spokes members receive discounted rates.

Roundtables
Spokes roundtable discussions are peer problem-solving and networking opportunities. Each roundtable is facilitated by an experienced nonprofit leader. In addition to regularly scheduled job-alike roundtables, issue-focused roundtables are held as needed. Roundtables are free to Spokes members.  Learn more.

Foundation Directory Online
Foundation Directory Online Professional is the premier database for grant seekers. It provides information on more than 200,000 funders including corporate foundations and U.S. federal agencies, and is updated weekly. Access is available to Spokes members only for a small fee to help underwrite the cost. 

Video Collection
Members have exclusive access to Spokes video collection of best practices in nonprofit management as well as recordings of past Spokes webinars and online classes.

Job Board 
Posting jobs is complimentary for Spokes member organizations.

MyBoardPacket
This online board document management system is integral for organizing and distributing board documents. It’s also an excellent tool for conducting fair and legal electronic voting. Available only to Organizational Members.

Answers Online 
When we receive a question from one member, it is likely another member has or will have the same question. So, in addition to answering the member directly, we add the information to our online collection that is available to all members. Typically, these are short posts with links to a curated set of additional resources. 

Network of Providers
Spokes is continually building relationships with local businesses and individuals who provide services to nonprofit clients. These businesses help support Spokes and often provide certain services to Spokes members on a pro bono or reduced cost basis. Spokes can help match you with a business or individual we know first-hand.
