We Are Un-aBASH-edly Grateful!
Spokes hosted its 5th anniversary celebration, A Good Old Fashioned Benefit Bash, in the beautiful gardens of The Victorian in Arroyo Grande on September 16, 2017. And, like any event, the success of our bash is due in large part to the folks who “showed up” to make it possible. So, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the folks who worked so hard to make our bash so fun!
First, we’d like to thank our guests who choose to spend their Saturday evening to celebrate with us and support our cause. We know there were lots of other events competing for your attention and we are grateful that you chose to support ours – thank you!
Second, our heartfelt thanks goes to all of our event volunteers who came dressed in theme to help host our guests. Our bash had lots of fun activities – blackjack, shooting gallery, roping practice, lawn games, and line dancing – all of which required reliable and friendly volunteer leaders. We were especially touched that many of our members choose to volunteer for the event. We are eternally grateful to each of our volunteers and want to be sure to recognize them publicly:
Carson Estrada & Alea Cunningham
And, last, but never least, many thanks to our dedicated and hardworking event planning committee who designed and produced this new event for us:
Michelle Starnes, Chair
If you recognize the individuals on this list, please send them an email or offer them a pat on the back to join us in expressing our gratitude for their support of Spokes!
